Affiliate Huddle returns to London on the 25th of November 2014. Hosted by Rough Agenda – the same team behind Brighton SEO – this one day event brings together affiliates and merchants with the aim to help deliver great affiliate marketing. Oban International’s Head of Conversion Joe Doveton will be speaking on the day and the session is a ‘must see’ for marketers that want to understand how customers interact with online platforms.
Titled ‘The Magnificent Seven: Conversion and the new Wild West’, Joe explores how users and customers physically explore and consume websites, landing pages and mobile apps and argues that content is as much about how people interact with it as what it says and does.
Joe has more than 17 years industry experience, working alongside a number if high profile brands including STA Travel, Manchester United, Vodafone, Sony and Panasonic. His area of expertise ranges from traffic driving disciplines (online advertising sales, ad planning and buying, ad networks, SEO & PPC) to site-side optimisation (web analytics, usability, conversion, AB and multivariate testing). Regularly speaking at conferences world-wide on all facets of marketing, his ‘know-how’ on online consumer behaviour is second to none. Moreover, Joe wrote a chapter on cultural conversions for the renowned CRO industry bible ‘Landing Page Optimisation’ by Tim Ash (2012).
