Greig Holbrook, founder of Oban International, will be speaking at the 15th Travel Insurance Industry Conference (TIIC) in London on April 13th.
The event brings together leading members of the travel insurance industry to share expertise and better understand the challenges it faces in the coming year.
Greig will be delivering valuable insights into local search trends and behaviours
“The travel insurance industry has a huge reach across cultures and professions, making it a real challenge for its members to understand the needs of its customers,” he said.
It’s a challenging time for this industry, Greig explained: “As a travel insurer you need to be found by an increasingly affluent and mobile generation that is spread across the globe and searching for your products”.
The event will be moderated by Steve King of personal accident insurers Crispin Speers & Partners, and includes sessions on regulatory developments, medical screening, the impact of terrorism on the travel industry, and the medical risks of extreme destinations and altitude.
Also speaking are Branko Bjelobaba, a Regulation and Compliance Consultant to the Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII), and Stephen Thompson, Head of Accident & Health (Retail) at Advent Underwriting.
There will also be a presentation by the Family Holiday Association and a lighthearted ‘Wow – that’s Aviation’ talk from aviation expert Phil Holt.
Greig founded Oban International in 2002 as a specialist agency that improves the performance of global websites and online platforms using local knowledge and real cultural influence.
The 15th Travel Insurance Industry Conference (TIIC) starts at 09:00 on Wednesday April 13th at the Royal Automobile Club in London. If you wish to register for the event, find out more information here.
