Oban International has been asked to deliver our popular one day International SEO training course at Brighton SEO in April.
The course is ideal for businesses who are either already international or looking to expand into new global markets. Focussed on practical insights, which make accessing international markets more achievable, the course is run by Oban’s Head of SEO, Emily Mace and Senior Client Partner, Neil Cains, both of whom have a wealth of experience working in international digital marketing.
We’ve designed the course to be suitable for everyone, from new marketing execs working with internal development teams or agencies, to technical SEOs. All you need to have is a website, the desire to go international (or improve your current international offering) and an open mind!
Emily and Neil will walk attendees through all aspects of taking a website into new markets. Topics include:
One of the most popular segments in this sessions is the international search engines segment, which includes information about Yandex, Baidu and Naver, helping people understand the difference between each of these platforms and the SEO rules we usually follow for Google. We focus on China, Russia and South Korea primarily because of the differences in the search results and the factors which govern where websites rank.
Every time we run this course we get lots of questions about Hreflang tags, as this is an area which many websites struggle to get right. In this part of the day, Emily will show attendees how to implement this critical piece of code correctly, in a way that will benefit everyone, regardless of whether they plan to execute the code themselves or have a development team to do this for them.
Places are available on the BrightonSEO website (Early bird prices continue until the 15th January).
Emily will also be speaking on the subject of Hreflang tags at the main event on Friday 28th April. More information on this will follow soon.
