Evolution: We are Oban International
Back in the day (in 2002 to be precise), Oban was founded on the premise that ambitious brands needed an agency with authentic international marketing capability to succeed in digital across multiple markets.
Fourteen years on, and the international digital prerogative is stronger than ever, as brands address global audiences, worldwide markets and incredible rates of economic evolution.
It now seems natural to re-brand our business from Oban Digital to Oban International. A small but significant change which better reflects our singular focus on internationalisation and the importance we place on it across all aspects of our work for clients.
In supporting this evolution, our experts overseas will now be known as local in-market experts, or LIMEs for short. The LIME network now numbers over 450 experts in 78 markets and has played a key role in the seamless delivery of our solutions, including:
• DADI award-winning campaign for BBC World Service across 28 markets
• Using paid media to recruit students across 40 markets for INTO
• Driving efficient sales growth for Sports Direct in Germany
We will continue to have international at the heart of our agency as we move into our fifteenth year and beyond.
