How Oban uses
AI responsibly
Human-led.
Human-accountable.

What this means
in practice
Our principles are supported by practical controls around how AI is used at Oban.
We assess the tools we use.
AI tools we actively choose to use for client work are assessed and approved, with clear boundaries around how and when they can be used.
People remain
involved throughout.Human oversight starts with the brief and continues through research, analysis, ideation, creation and delivery. The level of review reflects the nature and risk of the task.
Client information
is protected. We do not enter, upload, or share confidential, personal or commercially sensitive information with AI systems when carrying out work on behalf of our clients.
We check the output,
not just the process.AI-assisted work is reviewed for accuracy, relevance, quality, appropriateness and potential bias before it is delivered to a client.
We keep our approach under review.
AI is developing quickly, so our approach develops with it. We review our tools, controls and working practices as technology, regulation and recognised good practice evolve.
Our commitment
AI changes how some work is done. It does not change what our clients should expect from Oban.
They should expect thoughtful strategy, strong execution, international expertise, robust quality control and people who take responsibility for the work they deliver.
Clients who need more detail about our AI governance, security or use of AI as part of their procurement process are welcome to ask for further information.
