BrightonSEO: International SEO – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Brighton SEO is a one-day search marketing conference and series of training workshops held in Brighton. It takes place twice a year and brings together some of the best speakers in the world of search.
This year, Emily Mace, Head of SEO, was a keynote speaker in the Localisation session. Emily spoke alongside – David Whatley, Founder and Managing Director of MiShop.local and Jackson Rawlings, Digital Content and PR Campaign Manager at SiteVisibility.
Titled, Internationalisation: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Emily discussed three examples of brands which have expanded into new markets with varying degrees of success and practical illustrations of why they have failed and succeeded.
About the speaker:
Emily Mace, Head of SEO at Oban International, works on the overall strategy and development of International SEO campaigns for clients. She focusses on the development of strategies to help clients achieve the best results and provide meaningful insights into their ROI for different campaigns and goals. Emily comes from an SEO and IT training background. Her experience includes working alongside brands including BBC World Service, De Beers, AO, Aberdeen Asset Management and Sports Direct to name but a few.
