We’re getting ready for Brighton SEO – are you?
The arrival of September signals one of the biggest dates in the search marketing calendar: Brighton SEO, held this year on the 12th and 13th September. As always, Oban plans to participate fully in this highly regarded SEO conference and training event.
What is Brighton SEO?
The first Brighton SEO was held in a room above a local pub back in 2010. Since then, it’s grown exponentially year on year to become the largest SEO conference and training event in Europe. Typically, around 4,000 attendees and speakers travel from far and wide to participate. It’s held twice a year (in April and September) over two days. This year at the Brighton Centre, training will take place on 12th September and the conference itself on the 13th.
Oban’s involvement in Brighton SEO
Each year, Oban has delivered presentations and/or training at Brighton SEO.
We will be delivering an in-depth international search workshop, where attendees will be taken through the different phases of an international SEO project. Over the course of the day, we’ll explore the criteria, strategies, and specific tactics/tools needed to achieve success in multilingual and multi-country SEO projects. This will be led by Kezia Bibby, our brilliant Head of Client Services, and Colin Forrest, one of our talented SEO Analysts. The training will take place in Brighton on 12th September at 9:30am – 4:00pm – tickets are still available.
Taking the main stage this year is Catherine ‘Pear’ Goulbourne, our fantastic Senior SEO Strategist, who will be delivering a talk titled ‘How to find content gaps when you don’t speak the language’. This is explicitly aimed at marketers who want to scale their content marketing across languages but don’t know where to start. The ability to identify competitive content gaps based on SEO data and insight in multiple languages will give you a solid foundation for your multilingual content marketing, helping you to identify the biggest opportunities and avoid the costliest mistakes. Catherine is an engaging speaker with a breadth and depth of SEO and content marketing experience across numerous sectors and markets – her talk will not be one to miss. She will be on the main stage in Auditorium 1 at 12:10 pm on 13th September at the Brighton Centre.
