B2B Expo 2023 Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions to accompany the free prize draw to win one of three cuddly LIME soft toys at the B2B Expo in London UK on 29 and 30 November 2023.

The draw runs for the duration of the B2B Expo event at London Excel on 29 and 30 of November 2023 throughout the time that the event is open to visitors.

Eligibility to enter

Entrants must be present at the B2B Expo on 29 or 30 November 2023 to be eligible to enter.

Entrants must have an Exhibitor or Visitor wristband and allow Oban to scan it. This will enable us to enter you into the free prize draw, and to contact you if you win one of the prizes.

There is no cost of entry.

Each person may enter the free prize draw once.

Prizes

The prize is a cuddly LIME soft toy.

There are three prizes in total.

The prize cannot be swapped for an alternative prize, and there is no cash alternative.

Selection of winners

Once we receive the wristband data (likely to be a week or so after the exhibition), three winners will be chosen at random by an independent person. After picking the three winners, the independent person will select three reserves,  in case we are unable to contact the winners.

Oban will contact prize winners via the email contact details provided on wristbands to let them know they have won a prize.

If we are unable to contact a prize winner, we will make three further attempts  (4 in total) over a period of two weeks. After that date, if we have still been unable to contact you, your prize will be given to one of the reserves instead.

When we contact you, we will ask you to provide an address for us to send you your prize.

The prizes will be sent out via first class post or recorded delivery with proof of posting during December 2023.

Oban does not take responsibility for the timeliness of the postal delivery, nor for the safe arrival of the prize at the destination.

Publicity

We would like to announce the winners in a social media post on the main social media platforms. When we let the prize winners know they have won we will ask their permission to use their name and possibly their company name on social media posts. We will only do this if a prize winner gives us their permission.

Use of your data

We are collecting the data from your wristband to enable you to enter the prize draw.

Whether you win a prize or not,  by entering the prize draw, you agree to Oban International contacting you via email  a) to let you know whether you have won a prize or not and b) to ask if you would like to receive marketing communications from us.

You can agree to receiving marketing communications or not when we contact you to let you know if you won one of the prizes. .

If you agree to us using your data for marketing purposes, we will add your information to our marketing database. This means you will receive regular emails from us with information about Oban International and about international digital marketing.

We will keep the data collected for the prize draw, including the winners’ addresses, safely stored   until all three prizes have been awarded and distributed.

At this point, unless you have agreed to receive marketing communications from us, all the data you provided via your wristband will be securely destroyed.

It is possible that you already receive marketing communications from us. If you don’t want to receive those marketing communications any longer, you will need to unsubscribe via the method provided on those communications, as we do not intend to cross check the entrants to the prize draw with our existing database for the purpose of updating communication preferences.

Prize safety

The cuddly LIME soft toys were purchased from an external supplier, Jellycat. They state that the toy has been tested to and passes the European Safety Standard for toys: EN71 parts 1, 2 and 3 for all ages.

You must remove the labels please before giving to a child.

Oban Multilingual Strategy Limited is not responsible for the safety of the toy, nor how it is used.
