Win! Oban and BBC World Service awarded Best Use of Paid Media at Dadis
We are thrilled to announce that together with the BBC World Service, we are the proud winners of our first DADI Award!
Last night, the Dadis (The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries) celebrated their 10th anniversary, recognising agencies and brands producing great digital work.
For the first time in 2016, the Dadis introduced a Paid Media category. Chosen by a judging panel of digital industry experts, our BBC 100 Women campaign received the Best Paid Media Campaign award!
We have worked with BBC World Service across a number of strategic campaigns designed to raise the profile of the organisation in key markets around the world and build engagement with specific audiences.
Catherine Blizzard, Director or Marketing Audiences, BBC World Service, says “The BBC 100 Women season is unique… we realised the importance of having the right international marketing strategy to ensure that we reached our target audiences with that content in the right form, on the right channels, at the right time and with the right budget. Together, we achieved that and surpassed our target of 1m women engaging with our websites.”
Commenting on the award win, Matt Owen, CEO Oban International said: “Thank you to the BBC World Service for trusting us with such an important and inspiring campaign. This Award demonstrates how working closely with our client we combined strategic and tactical management with insight from our Local In-Market Experts to produce outstanding results!”
We are looking forward to working on the new BBC 100 Women season 2016 starting this November.
