Nandita Patkar shortlisted for Google’s Women In Search Award
Our very own Nandita Patkar has been shortlisted for the Women in Search Awards. Google, in association with The Drum, has launched a campaign to find the most innovative and successful women working in the search marketing sector.
Eileen Naughton, managing director, Google UK & Ireland at Google and co-founder of Women@Google, said: “Google believes that search should be as diverse as the 2.5 billion people it serves. And so it is our hope that Women in Search initiative will not only celebrate successful women in the sector, but also inspire women starting out in their career.”
The Drum working in conjunction with Google, collected nominations for women who have made the most impact in their field. Those nominations have been whittled down to a 50-strong list including Nandita Patkar, Head of Paid Media at Oban International.
Nandita has more than four years’ experience in managing Media campaigns for top tier brands such as Apple, LEGO, BBC World Service and Sports Direct. She is a specialist in international multilingual media planning and strategy and enjoys mulling over best practices, measurement and attribution and working with behavioural cues to optimise Media investment.
The awards, sponsored by Google and Yahoo, will take place 9th June at the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel.
